The next Board Meeting is set for Tuesday, November 19 from 6 to 7 PM at the Tates Creek Branch Library, 3628 Walden Dr., Lexington, KY in the small conference room. This will include the quarterly Regular board meeting and the Annual board meeting normally held in December when Directors and Officers for the following year are voted on.

2019 Duke Madison Memorial Scholarship Recipient Announced

The Jazz Arts Foundation has announced that Nate Stombaugh is the 2019 Duke Madison Memorial Scholarship recipient. Nate plays trumpet in the Central Kentucky Youth Jazz Arts Orchestra. The scholarship pays for the tuition and lodging at the famed Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshop in July, 2019. Click HERE for more information about the scholarship, past recipients and Nate.

2018 DUKE MADISON SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED

This year the Jazz Arts Foundation is very proud to name two recipients of the annual Duke Madison Memorial Scholarship from the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestra Jazz Arts Orchestra. Attending the prestigious Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshop under full scholarship will be Senior Henry Clay High School trombonist Braeden Young and freshman percussion major at SCAPA Lafayette, drummer Karson Caswell.
