On Friday, November 19, JAF will help present live Jazz at the Lexington downtown public library as part of the LexArts Gallery Hop. Threo, comprised of Keith McCutchen (keyboard), Tom Covello (contrabass) and Dave McWhorter (drums) will be playing in the library atrium from 5-8pm. Hope you can drop by the library for a fun night of Jazz and art in downtown Lexington.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the governor’s mandate that there not be any gatherings of more than 10 in phase one and only 50 in phase two, both the Jazz: Live at the Library and the Jazz on the Porch concert series have been postponed until further notice. Please check back for further updates.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the annual Jazz on the Porch concert series at Talon Winery has been postponed until Sunday, June 28th rather than beginning the last Sunday of May. This means that we will have 2 JOP concerts in August to make up for the delay. Check the Jazz on the Porch page for concert dates.
Unfortunately, the May 14th Jazz: Live at the Library! concert has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The April 12th Jazz Live at the Library show has been cancelled due to the closure of the Lexington Public Library because of the corona-virus. Also, the International Jazz Day concert scheduled for April 30th has been cancelled. We will keep you informed concerning the status of future Jazz Live at the Library shows. Thank you.
The March 19, 2020 JAF Board Meeting has been postponed indefinitely due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The meeting will be rescheduled for a later date by the Executive Committee.

The next Board Meeting of The Jazz Arts Foundation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Eastside Library Branch, 3000 Blake James Dr, Lexington , KY 40509 at 6PM in the small meeting room on the second floor.

The next Board Meeting is set for Tuesday, November 19 from 6 to 7 PM at the Tates Creek Branch Library, 3628 Walden Dr., Lexington, KY in the small conference room. This will include the quarterly Regular board meeting and the Annual board meeting normally held in December when Directors and Officers for the following year are voted on.
