Jazz Live at the Library – Thursday, August 13, 2026 – Mike Sharfe & The Mambo Combo Quintet – 7:00-8:15pm

It’s almost time for our next library concert. On Thursday, August 13, 2026 the Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library continue Season 17 of Jazz: Live at the Library!, their series of monthly concerts held at the Farish Theatre in the Central Library Branch, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington. For concert #203 we are happy to welcome back to the library stage, from Cincinnati, Mike Sharfe & the Mambo Quintet. These guys will amaze you as they perform Jazz classics with a Latin twist. Cincinnati Jazz Hall of Famer Mike Sharfe will lead on bass, along with Tim McCord/saxophone, John Zappa/trumpet, Brian Batchlor Gladder/piano and Andrew Gillum/drums.
