Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winery – Blue Groove Jazz – June 29, 2025 – 3:00-6:00pm

Season 17 of Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winerycintinues with our good friends who have played for us many times, Blue Groove Jazz. Blue Groove is comprised of Sam Carr on saxophone, Mark Gardner tickling the ivories on keyboard, Eben Hensen keeping the beat on drums and Peter McCaffrey strumming the bass.

Bring your chairs, blankets, food, family and friends, get a bottle or two of wine from our friends and Talon and prepare for a great afternoon of Jazz performed by Blue Groove Jazz. This year we have new presenting sponsors, anonymous donors/friends of the Jazz Arts Foundation. We greatly appreciate them for being our sponsors this season. And a huge thanks again to Talon for providing their beautiful venue. Hope you can make it out for our second show of 2025.

The Jazz Arts Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, educational organization whose mission is “to enhance the awareness of Jazz as a performing art.” Since its establishment in 1989, the Foundation has published newsletters, coordinated jazz calendars, awarded educational scholarships and sponsored many jazz events and performances.
