Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winery – Blue Groove Jazz – June 25, 2023 – 3:00-6:00pm

As we continue our 15th season of Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winery, we welcome back to the porch our good friends from Danville and Harrodsburg, Blue Groove Jazz. These guys have played many times for us and are always a hit. Blue Groove consists of Sam Carr on saxophone, Mark Gardner on keyboard, Eben Hensen on drums and Peter McCaffrey on the bass.

Bring your chairs, blankets, food, family and friends, get a bottle or two of wine and prepare for a great afternoon of Jazz from Blue Groove. This year we have a new presenting sponsor, an anonymous donor/friend of the Jazz Arts Foundation. We greatly appreciate them for being our sponsor this season. And a huge thanks again to Talon for providing their beautiful venue. Hope you can make it out for our second show of 2023.

The Jazz Arts Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, educational organization whose mission is “to enhance the awareness of Jazz as a performing art.” Since its establishment in 1989, the Foundation has published newsletters, coordinated jazz calendars, awarded educational scholarships and sponsored many jazz events and performances.
