Jazz Live at the Library – Thursday, June 12, 2025 – Mambo Combo – 7:00-8:15pm

The Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library continue Season 16 of “Jazz: Live at the Library!”, their series of monthly concerts held at the Farish Theatre in the Central Library Branch, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington. Show #189 brings the Mambo Combo back to town, led by Cincinnati Jazz Hall of Famer, Mike Sharfe. Mike and his group go back to their roots to present a concert of jazz favorites and standards. Joining Mike on bass will be Brian Batchlor Glader (piano), Tim McCord (sax) and John Zappa (trumpet) are all making return visits and Andrew Gillum, a new drummer making his first visit to the library.
