Jazz Live at the Library – Thursday, July 9, 2026 – Mike Wade Quintet – 7:00-8:15pm

It’s almost July and things are heating up, both outside and in our library concert series. On Thursday, July 9, 2026 the Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library continue Season 17 of Jazz: Live at the Library!, their series of monthly concerts held at the Farish Theatre in the Central Library Branch, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington. For concert #202 we are happy to welcome back to the library stage, from Cincinnati, the Mike Wade and his Bebop Quintet. Cincinnati Jazz Hall of Famer Mike Wade will lead on trumpet. The rest of the quintet is composed of, Dan Drees/saxophone, Phil Tipton/drums, Keigo Hirakawa/piano and Peter Gemus/bass.
