Jazz Live at the Library – Thursday, August 14, 2025 – Rusty Burge Quartet – 7:00-8:15pm

The Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library continue Season 16 of “Jazz: Live at the Library!”, their series of monthly concerts held at the Farish Theatre in the Central Library Branch, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington.  Show #191 features the return of a library favorite, vibraphonist Rusty Burge and his quartet. Joining Rusty will be Matt Harris tickling the ivories, Aaron Jacobs strumming the bass and John Taylor keeping the beat on drums. Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winery – Gotcha’ Covered – July 27, 2025 – 3:00-6:00pm

It’s July, things are heating up and Season 17 of Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winery continues with our good friend Mark Gardner leading Gotcha’ Covered. Joining Mark on keyboard will be David Maynard/saxophone, Ben Cantrell/drums and Matt Meighan/bass.  Bring your chairs, blankets, food, family and friends, get a bottle or two of wine from our friends and Talon and prepare for a great afternoon of  Jazz performed by Blue Groove Jazz.
